- Cash,PayPal,VISA and MasterCard accepted.
- In keeping with our retreat atmosphere, we ask for a minimum stay of 3 nights. Please don't ask for shorter stays. Our average length of stay is 4-5 nights.
- Leaves and Lizards is suitable for older children. We may not be the best choice for kids under the age of 5.
- We can provide transportation, please inquire about rates.
- Check-in is at 1:00 pm and Check-out at 11:00 am.
- FREE local calls and FREE wireless internet.
- FREE professional naturalist walks at 6:15 am Monday, Wednesday, Friday
- FREE Dinner Presentations by professional naturalist guide: On topics such as Biodiversity and Volcanoes.
- A hot, homemade breakfast is offered daily at the restaurant from 7-9 AM and is $4/pp/day. We serve fresh fruit and juices, homemade English muffins, our own farm fresh eggs, pancakes made with our own buttermilk, cheese and Gallo Pinto, the typical Costa Rican breakfast food.
- Lunch - $8, Dinner - $16-$25 Served at the Lava Lizard restaurant. Happy Hour at 6pm! Childrens menu $5. Reservations are necessary.
- Foods organically grown at Leaves and Lizards: Milk, cream, sour cream, cheese, butter, ice cream, chicken, beef, pork, eggs and a variety of fruits and vegetables.
- Cancellations greater then 20 days before dates of stay will receive a refund less a 20% processing fee. Cancellations 20 days or less will not receive a refund on lodging. Any tours you may have paid for will be fully refunded. At least 50% deposit is required to secure your reservation. In peak times(June, July, August, Dec, Jan,Feb ,March & April) or less than 30 days before night of stay 100% is required to secure your reservation.

- 13% Costa Rica tourist tax not included in rate and is added to your food and lodging total.
