LODGING AT LEAVES AND LIZARDS

Comfortable, well equipped cabins, perched on a hills, offer a tree house feeling and have spectacular, panoramic views of the Arenal Volcano and surrounding mountains. All lodging options have a similar view of impressive Arenal. Lodging options are crafted from nine types of tropical hardwoods, harvested using environmentally responsible methods. They feature WIFI (best signal on the porches), iPod docking stereo systems, orthopedic beds with 800 count Egyptian cotton sheets, coffee makers, mini-fridge, microwaves (in some), rocking chairs, hammocks, ceiling fans, games, robes, reference books, spacious porches and private bathrooms with hot showers.

In order to better enjoy the sounds of nature and the rumblings of Arenal; lodging options do not have phones, television or air conditioning. They are situated to catch the breeze. They are a 5 minute walk from the Lava Lizard. Guests are welcome to use the phone for local calls.

The 2 bedroom Heliconia House is next to the main lodge and has all the amenities noted above as well as air conditioning. The Hummingbird Hacienda is situated on a private hill at the back of the property, offering guests the ultimate in privacy and delux accomodations.

Lodging options are beautifully landscaped, teeming with birds, butterflies and other wildlife.
